Vojta – piercing specialist

Vojta is the founder, co-owner and main piercer in our studio. He is one of the pioneers of the Czech body-art movement that began to emerge in Prague in the mid-nineties. Since 2008, when he moved the salon from Wenceslas Square to its current address, he has been providing top-class piercing services for more than 15 years. During that time he has done more over 30,000 piercings.
It is not only the actual piercing process that is important to Vojta; he also ensures that clients are well informed about the possible risks, makes sure they know how to care for their new piercing, provides professional advice if a client experiences complications when a piercing is healing, and guides clients through the entire process, until the piercing is completely healed. He is an avid connoisseur of jewellery and is happy to help clients choose the right piece, suggest the best place for it, and propose the best piercing composition.
When he’s not working, Vojta enjoys reading fiction, and listens to classical music and Italian opera. He adores pre-war and interwar Czech avant-garde art, as well as the Manchester music scene and British pop culture in general. He also occasionally goes fishing, following the principles of “catch & release”.
